Blake has several well-known dogs in his pedigree. His father is Alf, who is after Ross Games Roy, who is the father of Kevin Evans Priseli Ci. The line therefore has Pennant Williams Sweep, Dale. And Michael Gallagher’s Cap and Jimmy behind him.

Blake lives in Sweden but comes from Wales where he has been with Kevin Evans and for a while in Norway with Jon Sand.

Blake is a confident dog with good social characteristics and works well both as a family dog and working dog.

As a sheepdog Blake is a young, intensive and with a fine animal feel and is breed-approved by in Sweden.

For the time being is he not trialing but is used as a working dog where he gets a lot of practical experience.

He is not a big dog – the pictures may be misleading – but my best guess is that he weighs around 17-18 kg.

MC is after my own Cozy and Serge’ss Gary. She is a sensible bitch who keeps her head cool both on the sheep but not least also in agility. She is not a tough dog but not super soft either. If so, I wouldn’t be able to work with her at all.

Right now she is gaining experience on the sheep with purely practical work but has in 2019  won her first 2 at  kl 1 and gone to 86 points in her first Nursery competition.

Additionally, she has had her first agility season with John and has really done well. She is not stressed at all, but  has tended to be too mother-happy so I had to hide when she was running. This is no longer a problem 😉

She is fast – and we think she will be even faster – also faster than Zoom. Just without the noise 😉

The combination is chosen for several reasons.

I love Blake’s lineage, his approach to the sheep. He has a fair amount of eye – does not stick but still has a really nice style. He is learning that the sheep can be picked up at a slow pace and not at full speed.

He compliments MC with a whole lot of push and adjust eye and she compliments him on taking it all a little more calmly.

Although he is long-haired, he is actually quite beautiful and has an absolutely perfect size. He is not so long in the body where  MC should not be any longer

I can’t wait
